PO Approvals - Viewing Selected Approval Path

Hello,

We have a PO approvals requirement where the initial buyer would need to select an appropriate approval path based on the nature of the PO.

Given that there is a risk of choosing the wrong hierarchy, is there a way to allow the next approver to view the approval path selected by the buyer? The first few levels of both hierarchies are the same, so by the time the approval request reaches a wrong approver a lot of time would be wasted.

I read the document "Using Position Hierarchies, Approval Path and/or the Forward-To Fields Are Not Accessible (Greyed Out) [ID 276958.1]". Does this apply to the PO creator only, or to the subsequent approvers as well?
