file / Export functionality not working in R12

Our Database version is 11g(11.2) and application is 12..1.3

This utility was widely used in 11i especially to export query extracts.

Ex: In order Organizer, query for a range of orders.

Use file / Export functionality

Application will try to export the transactions but will eventually come up with following error in production instance

'Internet Explorer cannot download fndgf.jsp .....'

This is happening with ie8 installations.

However, with the same ie8, this same utility can be used from all test instances cloned from the PRODUCTION instance. both Database and application is cloned from Production instance
