Tax Withholding for Pension Employees in Michigan
In 2012, Michigan changed withholding rules for Pension employees (see attachment for Michigan withholding guide):Beginning in 2012, pension and retirement benefitswill be taxed differently depending on the age of therecipient. For couples, age is determined using theage of the older spouse.
Does JD Edwards and Vertex support this new change? If so, how should it be set up to recognize the different withholding rules dependent on the pension employee's age? These employees are set-up with a Tax Method of P.Thanks.
