Is Solaris x86 kernel cage fully implemented as in SPARC?
Hello,
I've been reading a rather old article (2007) that mentions that x86 large pages (2M) may not be possible due to memory fragmentation mainly caused by not fully implementing the kernel cage.
This could be an argument in favor to maturity of Solaris on SPARC, so, is this already solved on x86?
Thanks in advance,
Carlos.
