Populate CO data into Opportunity Record type

Hi Experts,

Here my issue is While creating new opportunity record there are some fileds like Oppty Name ,Region in the main opportunity info section  etc.. when the user fills the opportunity name   then under related information section  values (Expe closing date, Revenue etc..) should automaticlly poulated in these fields.Hope this could achive by Joinfield but is this poosible in CO type ? if yes How , I am not aware of using joinfield.

How can we implement this under Opportunity with CO type? Any suggestions?
