At least one or more item attributes failed validation: Vertify values for the following attributes

Hi

I created a new item and when I tried to use it in the Purchase order the following message appears:

At least one or more item attributes failed validation:  Vertify values for the following attributes purcahsing_enabled_flag, stock_enabled_flag,outside_operation_flag and  bom_item_type

The item is correctly setup.  I tried those flags but it is not the error...I was going to apply patch 8551685, but it is not compatible with our release version...12.1.3

Can anyone help me on this?
