Is there a reasonable way to list all the packages that a certain package depends?

Hello,
Is there a reasonable way to list all the packages that a certain package depends?
For example, how can list the (name of the packages) that system/file-system/smb depends?
Is there a way to add to this listing the installation date of each such packages?
