Payroll Interface - reprocess or create new export files

Our Payrol Department is asking that we run payroll (monthly & biweekly) each week and create an new export file each time for the same pay period.  What issues will I encounter if I run a new payroll (new export file for the same pay period) each time instead of reprocessing as I now do?
