HRMS and Radford Job Codes

We are on R12.08. Our HR dept would like to use Radford job codes for better classifying our jobs and comparing them in the market place.

As one possible option we were thinking of expanding the assignment job flexfield to include a segment for job code, however we were wondering if there is a specific spot already defined in the application where Radford job code data should be loaded. We want to follow Oracle standard process and best practice, but are unsure what is recommended for the handling of job codes.

I understand there are many different ways to configure the application, but want to know:
