Request for assistance - objects transfer

Hi All,
I am performing my first upgrade and unfortunatelly I need to perform it all by myself. As it happens we have some customized objects in our current system (E900) and I would like to ask if those objects will be transferred automatically during the upgrade or should I do it manually (if so, can you please advice me how to do it)?
