What system can we implement to allow users to request supplies from inventory?
We have oracle purchasing and iProcurement. Currently we use a home-grown application to allow users to send requests to the receiving warehouse. The warehouse personnel then pull the orders and perform account alias issues to the various departments and deliver the material. We are lookng for an oracle-centric solution for this process. We are familiar with the internal requisition / Internal SO solution for inter-organization purchases, but this is not the right solution for this need. We do not want to ship the goods, but simply issue out of inventory to local employees.
We are targeting these requirements:
