Feature difference between SPARC 64 extended mode and compatible mode

Hello,
I have a plan to add SPARC 64 VI CPU board in M5000 with SPARC 64 VII board, I know how I add the board but I wonder what feature will be disabled when I set compatible mode.

Would you tell me what feature will be disabled in detail ? I looked for the difference between SPARC 64 VI and VII but I did not find any good material to find their difference.
