Orace HR: Best Practices for recording and reporting on Employee Retention Bonuses/Future Bonus Paym

We are currently on Oracle version 11.5.10, and exploring options for recording and reporting on future bonus (retention bonus) amounts and due dates.

We are looking at possibly creating and Extra Information type or an Special Information type on the Person form to capture this data, but would like to explore if there is a best practice method being utilized by others out there for this type of record keeping.
