Issue with HRMS SELF SERVICE after applying Q2 2012 and RUP5 Patch in R12.1.3
We recently upgraded from R11 to R12.1.3. We are already in
RUP4 patch level. We now applied below patches in our test instance, while
performing SSHR testing as a part of our testing, for a particular user, the
manager actions is trying to populate the hierarchy and its failing, after 3-4
minutes of time(usually takes less than a minute) it gave an error(screen shot
uploaded) looks like an timeout issue. Our DBA's told us that, the particular
action so for fetched a billion rows and consumed most of the CPU resource. To confirm
this issue is caused by the patch, we took a new instance where no
