Bug Summary - How to add items to this list? Bug attached to SR dropped off list when SR closed.

How does one get an open bug to show in the Bug Summary list on the dashboard?

I had a bug posted to my SR, and when I added the Bug Summary window to my dashboard, the bug showed up.  Subsequently, the SR was closed, and then the bug disappeared from the Bug Summary window even though the bug is open.

On a second SR, another bug has been logged.  That SR is open but the associated bug does not show up in the Bug Summary. 

When I search for the bug and display it, the Favorites star is filled in on both of these bugs but neither show up in the Bug Summary.
