This website misses the whole point of it's primary purpose
I use this website (metaLink as it was back in 2000) primarily to serach for technical help or in extremis to raise service requests.
All the decorations and fancy graphics are an annoyance. Spped and accuracy of results is all that matters. If I want a pretty website I can go elsewhere.
Then we have the search function. Take this morning. I wanted to do a simple serach on how to get the UNIX PID of my sqlplus session.
Logged into this web site and after 3 minutes was able to key in the serach term "get sqlplus process ID". Not a single article returned was relevant.
