VMI in iSupplier with two instances

in Value Chain Planning - EBS (MOSC) Question
We have a requirement to enable Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) in iSupplier portal. (Oracle Application 11.5.10.2). Our Client has a separate instance for planning (ASCP).

 

We would like to know if any of you have implemented VMI with two instances (planning and transaction). If yes please let us know. Your response on this will be highly appreciated.

 

PS: We got the below notes from Oracle Support.

 

The Oracle Support Note 405518.1 states as below.

 

The iSupplier Portal/Collaborative planning products function based on the assumption that the modules are running from the same instance as the Advanced Supply Chain Planning. At this time, there is no program available that will push back results from the Planning instance to the Source instance - meaning that this functionality only works in a non-distributed environment.
