Error when applying OAS 10.1.3.5 Upgrade Patch to 10.1.3.1

Applying the OAS 10.1.3.5 Upgrade Patch on top of 10.1.3.1.

All runs fine until Configuration Assistant at end fails during "Run One-Off Generic OPatches" with:

*** Starting OUICA ***
Oracle Home set to /opt/oracle/10.1.3/OASS
Configuration directory is set to /opt/oracle/10.1.3/OASS/cfgtoollogs. All xml files under the directory will be processed

Starting to execute configuration assistants

Launched configuration assistant 'Run One-off Generic OPatches'
Tool type is: Recommended.
The command being spawned is: '/opt/oracle/10.1.3/OASS/config/run_opatch_generic.sh'
