Self Service Time Entry 9.1 data fields for time clock start and end.

Time Entry Self Service in E1 9.1 has data items for time clock dates and times start and end.  However, upon viewing the F051123 table, it seems the ESZ073 - Time clock end refers to future use.  The other data field for start time and date seems to reference the fields for 3rd party Accounting systems.   Does anyone know if the fields ESZ072 and ESZ073 can be used 'out of the box' in the P051128 and P051127 Self Service Time Entry without using a 3rd party system?  Has anyone had any experience with these data fields for time clocks?
