Automate Admin Task

Hi all,

For the maintenance of Administration setup like below screens:

·         Administration – Integration > WI Symbolic URL

·         Administration – Server Configuration

·         Administration – Browser

 

Whereby they are doing the below activities:

1. Repeating component request setup
2. Communications Drivers and Profiles setup
3. Administration – Web Browser setup

Currently my client has done the above maintenance via Siebel UI manually and wishes to check if:

1. This can be done via scripting which these scripts will be scheduled by the team to run?

2. What are the pros and cons of running them in scripts

3. How other client has done the maintenance for the above

 

Basically they do not want the team to do it via UI.
