Monitor usage items
Can anyone please advice me on how to monitor usage items?
Lets assume that I have a printer in the IB where a customer orders ink and I would like to know how much was ordered over a period. Lets say that the ink is covered by a contract and the yield is 1000 prints and the customer only gets 600 prints per unit. Therefore I need to charge the customer for the difference.
Do I setup a counter to count the units shipped and create an trackable item in the IB? What is the best options available in both 11i and R12.
