Which patch can be applied (or) applicable to which level

Hello all,
.A patches is for R12.0 level i.e.,Any .A patches are considered as R12.0 patches.  In similar manner
.B patches is for R12.1 level i.e.,Any .B patches are considered as R12.1 patches and
.C patches will be for R12.2

Patch Names will have the following nomenclature:
<Patch Number>:R12.<3 letter product code>.<A/B/C>

Eg: 14040589:R12.PER.B
14040589 - Patch Number
R12 - R12
PER - Product Code for Human Resources
B - R12.1 level Patch
