add two unique index on target table making replicat process abend

Oracle to Oracle replication

The replication works fine after installation. But customer recently add two unique index on target table ,and it caused the replicat process abend. After troubleshooting ,we delete the two unique index and it works fine again.

Customer need to know why the unique index make the replication abend, pls kindly give some notes for explaination.
