CPU utilization on 11g when running RMAN
Hi,
We upgraded our Oracle Apps database from 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.2. When the RMAN full backup is running I see that the CPU kernel utilization is higher than before when we was on 10g.
The maximum CPU kernel utilization is 34 % (but not for a long time, arround 4 seconds) which is never happen on 10g.
Generally I can see that CPU kernel utilization for RMAN backup on our upgraded database 11g is higher than on 10g, are there any issue related to CPU kernel utilization on 11g (11.2.0.2) ?
Please advise.
Thanks,
KLM
