Hi,
My customer is running a 2-node RAC database, with a 2-node RAC physical standby, at 11.2.0.3. He is seeing lgwr trace files containing lines such as 'Warning: log write elapsed time 1602ms, size 0KB '. Now, I have seen note 601316.1, which explains the significance of the message itself, and also how to change the threshold, but my question is - what is the meaning of the 'size 0KB' phrase? All the examples in the note, and some of the lines in the customer's trace file, contain a non-zero size, and I do not see an explanation of 'size 0KB' anywhere. I would be grateful for any ideas which you may have - thank you.
