CCH Tax Rate File

Has anyone had any experience working with a tax rate file from a company by the name of CCH.  I have a customer who is only registered in 3 states and Vertex and Taxware only provide a rate file for all 50 states where with CCH you can purchase a 5 state license for one third of the price.  CCH claims that their rate file is in the same file format as Vertex (which I have used in the past) but do not want my client to purchase a license if we can not work with the file format from CCH.
