Restrict user with specifiic sub-inventory of an Org.

Has any one worked on restricting the user access at the sub inventory level? I want to check if this can be achieved or not? if so how?

We have an Organization-A; having two sub-inventory i.e. subinvA and subinvB. we have two group of users i.e. groupA and groupB.

We want to restrict users of groupA to work only with subinvA and groupB to work only with subinvB.

Can you please guide us? Thanks
