Lease Payments not creating when AM_AEDIST run

Cannot get lease payments to create when running create accounting entries.  For a regular lease (not a step lease).  When I generate the journal, only getting asset addition je and depreciation je's.  Is there something missing in my asset setup that this is not working?

I understand from a reply I received that AM_DPCLOSE is necessary to create the lease payment(s).  However, I am also doing the AM_DPCLOSE, and when I generate the journal, no entry exists for the lease payment (I am working with an annual lease).
