BI Publisher and PO report - Long Description Missing

I am working in Oracle EBS 12.1.3 and trying to update a Purchase Order template using a BI Publisher word add-in.  I want to take out the short description of items on the PO and use the long description instead.  I cannot find the long description in the list of possible fields to use.  Am I missing something....is there a reason not to use a long description.......is there a way to add the long description to the LOV?
