Do "favorites" always get updated if processing options are changed?

If users save applications as favorites, are there situations where the favorites are not being updated if we make a change to processing option?

For example, user saves P4915 (Work with shipments) - this version calls application P49645 (Transportation Ship Conf) which then calls P4205 (Ship Confirmation).

If I make a change to the processing option on the P4205 version, will the user's favorite reflect this change?  If not, what needs to be done?  Are there any known issues related to favorites?
