Is it possible to create single node Active dataguard (standby) from RAC database in 11gR2

Hi Experts,

Kindly let me know if I can create single node Non-RAC Active dataguard (standby database) on (Unix file system) open for reporting from RAC database on ASM.

how recovery is performed by two instances archivelogs?

Database - 11.2.0.2

E-Business Suite - R12.1.3

I was referring documents like 1070033.1 and 1070491.1 but this scenario is not mentioned.

Do I need to specify any parameter for recovery?

Your valuable suggestions will be appreciated.
