Manually Add CIP Asset using detail Assed Addition

Hi  All,

       Unable to add CIP Asset using Asset Work Bench.  In Asset addition when ever asset  Type select  as 'CIP' It will give error  'Field is protected against update.'

Any setup issue or other ?
