Below metioned on FA user guide, but I am confused....

What is the default DPIS if the profile is set to "null" or "No"?

What is the default DPIS if the profile is set to "Yes"==>the default DPIS will be Invoice date.

but I changed the value to No ,the default DPIS still =Invoice date.

FA: Default DPIS to Invoice DateEnables you to use the Future Transactions feature by allowing the defaultdate-placed-in-service to be the invoice date, even when the invoice date is in a futureaccounting period. If you set this profile option to Yes, Oracle Assets defaults thedate-placed-in-service to the invoice date for future transactions. If you set this profileoption to No, Oracle Assets does not default the date-placed-in-service to the invoicedates, and you cannot use the Future Transactions feature. The default is No.

Howdy, Stranger!
