Credit check functionalaity not working

HI All

I am using Solution Beacon instance 12.1.3. While working on O2C flow, I realised that credit check functionality is not working even after credit check box is enabled both at customer site level and Payment terms being used for sales order.

One of profile option 'ASO: Enable Credit check' is set to NO at site level. I am unable to update it as an error message warns that for this instance, profile option can be updated only at user level. But this value can not be updated even at user level. I am not very sure whether this Profile option is the root cause of the problem.
