De-kitting process

Hi Experts

I have completed kitting process for an assembly from WIP Job. Now Job status is completed. How can i do dekitting? if i open dekitting it showed all Discrete wip menus. Is it correct way do the following for dekitting else any other process is there.

1.Assembly return to DJ

2. Component return to subinventory from DJ
