Hi,

One of our clients has implemented Oracle EBS 11i on 10g R2 (10.2.0.4.0) RAC on ASM on Sun SPARC Solaris 10 Servers.

They currently have ONE Diskgroup DG_DATA with 2 Disks each of size 410 GB using Normal Redundancy.
While creating the Diskgroups, Failure group names have not been given hence the FAILGROUP colum has Disk Name in v$asm_disk;

DISK GROUP Name: DG_DATA

DISK Name : DG_DATA_0000 & DG_DATA_0001

FAIL GROUP Name:DG_DATA_0000 & DG_DATA_0001

Now we want to add 2 Disks to the Disk Group.One Disk to each Failure Group.

Can I give these commands to add the 2 New Disks?

Howdy, Stranger!
