How to delete a damaged DATAQ on the Employee Master file F060116.

Q: How do you repair a damaged DATAQ on the Employee Master File 'F060116'?

A; Go to Menu G08H3 (History & Turnover ADV/TECH Operation).

Select Stop Subsystem & Monitor (J08031). Submit the job J08031 to batch for processing.

After the job J08031 is completed, select Reivew HR Monitor Status (J08HST) and make

sure the Subsystem and Monitor are not active.

Next: At the long command line, key in the IBM Command DLTDTAQ (delete data queue) and prompt wtih the F4 function key.

**Note: you may need to check with your IT Departrment and make sure you have security to the IBM Command 'DLTDTAQ'.
