Explain plan differences in Non EXADATA dabases vs EXADATA Database
Hello,
We are in the process of migrating our database to EXADATA. Our traditional 11gR2 database some sql profiles enabled and during the migration these profiles will be transferred to EXADATA.
I see the differences in the explain plans like FULL SCAN "STORAGE CELL" so on in the EXADATA which are not found in traditional databases.
My question is does it makes sense to migrate the SQL profiles to the EXADATA as the plan will be different when compared to my old database? Is there any document that clearly explains the difference of the explain plans between EXADATA and traditional databases and any information/recommendations on whether to migrate the profiles/outlines from non-EXA to EXA.
