R12: Install Base Search using wildcard(%) character functionality.

Hi,

In R12 Install Base OAF pages, I found that I'm not able to search an Install Base using the search criteria such as fill "%123456" in "Serial Number" field but got the below error message:

"Please fill in search criteria values in at least one of the following fields: Item Instance, Serial Number, Item, Owner Party Name, Owner Account Number, Sales Order Number, Purchase Order Number, Contract Number, Agreement Name, System, Asset Number. Note that the search criteria values should not begin with a "%" or "_" for at least one of the listed fields".

 

But in R11, Oracle has provided this functionality to search the Install base using the above criteria.
