Agile User Account Policy

Hi,

When we enable account policy to enable periodic password change, can we except some users from this policy? If not, can anyone please provide some tips to manage user account which are used in Custom Applications(SDK based application). Because these custom applications might be schedules job, so after specified period if password does not work, jobs will get failed. Please let me know your suggestions.
