Difference between new Inventory Organization and Subinventories
We are on Oracle 11i 5.10.2
We already have 5 Inventory Organizations defined.
We would like to know the best option on how to manage the Inventory of a new site, but are wondering what could be the best options..
Assumptions.
- Need to manage about 600 items.
- New items will be created for this new site, no reuse of existing items
- Qty and costs per item must be tracked. Very important.
- Item costs of existing subinv must not be impacted
- At creation, must be no impact in GL. How to perform this one?
