adpatch on AIX 6.1 Failed Because of Some JAVA Settings

VPC Team member opened this thread on behalf of the customer.
On IBM AIX system, it has been noticed that adpatch fails when LDR_CNTRL is set and LIbrary Path contains $ORACLE_HOME/jdk/jre/lib/ppc

Removing one of these settings make its work.
Need to know why failing when both are set.

These settings can be set as per:

        761569.1 - Oracle Applications Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for IBM AIX on Power Systems (64-bit)

The base error was with adpatch:
Calling /ebsapp/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/appsutil/jdk/jre/bin/java ...
