e-Text template invocation in Oracle Applications

Hi,
Please excuse me if this is a basic question.

I am trying to define a BI publisher job using an e-Text template in Oracle Applications.

I have defined a Data definition .xml, and an e-Text based .rtf template and linked the same to the conc manager as you would do for any standard BI job.
However the output is just the e-Text rtf in .pdf format and not the processed output as per the etext definition.

What am i doing wrong ?
Is the Seeded concurrent Executable  'XDODTEXE' not the one to be used with e-Text templates ?
