Oracle Restart, Data Guard and /etc/oratab
Greetings All; Hopefully a quick question ...
Oracle 11.2 with Oracle Restart.
Data Guard "cluster" (not "Active" Data Guard) - two hosts, two databases, one primary, one physical standby.
What should the entries in /etc/oratab "say" about each of these databases?

DBprmry:/app/product/11.2.0.1/db_1:?
DBstdby:/app/product/11.2.0.1/db_1:?
DBstdby:/app/product/11.2.0.1/db_1:?
- Should both/ either/ neither of these databases be marked to start automatically? (? = Y) in /etc/oratab?
- Does Oracle Restart take any notice of this flag? Does srvctl now do everything for itself?
- If both databases were set to auto-start, could the physical standby open "all the way" (thereby morphing into an "active" Data Guard setup and costing us pots of money?)
