Why MOS don't work so fine on Solaris as in other Oses?
Hi all:My company has a lot of experience using Solaris and Sparc/X86 hardware. Most of the time we use MOS from a Sparc machine with a recent version of firefox (14) to be able download that huges files and have invested time to make that system run fine (forget the wget method to downloaded them; sometimes works others not) .
When hear about the transition from flash based MOS; we expected be able to work as fine as html based MOS. But have a huge disappointing when confirm that new MOS is not so compatible with Solaris and Firefox (feel the irony; and oracle site don't work fine with its own flagship OS?). To make it work; we have to paste the urls (from a windows/mac) on the solaris firefox browser to access the resources since the content doesn't render well on the solaris firefox.
