Detailed Item Availability not updating realtime when purchase orders are entered or adjusted in JDE

We are going through testing as part of the upgrade from JDE XE to JDE 9.0.  In XE the item availability screen for an item will reflect the On Receipt amount immediately upon entering a PO for an item.  If any changes are made to the PO quantity, that to is immediately reflected in the Item Availablitly application.  In JDE 9.0, the changes to On Receipt are not happening realtime.  If I run the Repost Open Purchase Orders UBE (R43990) the numbers get updated correctly at that time.

Does anyone know if this process changed in 9.0 so that it can't update realtime?  I'm not sure if we have a bug, are missing setup, or if this is a change that has occured from XE to 9.0.?
