Balance retroact

HI...

I need to make a report that shows the balance of a transaction at a past date.
This audit will be used to check the account balance versus the balance in AR as closed accounting period specified.

Is there a table in Oracle EBS that records the balance every application?
Is there any report that I provide this information?
Does anyone have any idea how I can backdate the balance of the transaction?
