New FDM Implementation (Entire EPM Suite)

Hello,
We are going live with our Hyperion EPM Suite which includes FDM implementation. We have a very complex implementation which includes lot of custom code, it does automated loads of 58 files from the ledgers.
The implementation was completed by external consultants.
We are trying to figure out the roles and responsibilities for FDM. Can someone help me with hi-level maintenance tasks and which ones should be business vs. IT.
Also, if we had to -
1) Apply patches
2) Bring in new data sources
3) Make changes around the scripts etc
What are some of the hi-level breakdown of tasks for new enhancements
