When an Account is changed in an Opportunity - it creates duplication problems in our reporting
Within our CRM On Demand Reporting structure - some duplication problems have been occurring whenever an Opportunities designated account is changed.
Example:
Opportunity 1 is assigned to Company A. It appears on the reports as Opportunity 1/Company A.
Company A is changed to Company B. It now appears on the reports as Opportunity 1/Company B, in addition to the Opportunity 1/Company A.
When you select the Opportunity1/Company A report entry, it directs you to the correct opportunity that reflects Opportunity 1/Company B up-to date information.
The "ghost" entry of Opportunity 1/Company A remains on the report until the opportunity no longer meets the reporting criteria.
