Duplicate and posted receipt in GL but single entry in AR

HI,

   Can some one help me with my concern.

   There is an issue that i have encountered in some of the receipts. the issue was in AR and Cash Management there are only one entry of the receipt but when i view it in GL it shows that there were two entry for the said receipt.

sample:
receipt numer 22222
- when query in AR it shows one record
- when query in Cash Management it shows one record

- when query in Accounting on GL it reflects two records also has same data / details

What would be the explanation on this issue?
